Description

American Traveler is hiring a night-shift RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring at least 2 years of L&D experience and 2 years of travel nursing experience.

• Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced Provider or NRP Instructor certification required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN or MSN preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of travel nursing experience required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to L&D patients, including assessment, medication administration, and IV/blood product management
• Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Document patient responses to treatments and communicate care plans with patients and families
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Facility enforces strict compliance deadlines; onboarding must begin promptly after booking
• Returning travelers may extend contracts only once up to a total of 26 weeks, followed by a required 6-month separation before reapplying
