Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). 4x12 schedule available upon request. Patient ratio 1:3. Floating to Postpartum unit may be required. Orientation is 36 hours.

Highlights:

• 13-week assignment at a 277-bed acute care hospital with Epic charting system
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Work with diverse patient populations including neonates, adolescents, and adults
• Guaranteed hours with minimal call-off policy (facility may call off once per two-week pay period)
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Requirements:

• Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required; postpartum experience is a hard requirement
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
• Preferred certification: AWHONN Advanced
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred; first-time travelers not accepted
• Must provide 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Clean background check required (no exceptions)
• Candidates residing within 50 miles are not eligible at standard rates
