Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our team. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in obstetrics and operating room circulation.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Assist in both routine and emergency procedures, collaborating closely with medical staff.
- Monitor fetal heart patterns and maternal health using AWHONN fetal heart monitoring standards.
- Float to Medical-Surgical (MS), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Emergency Room (ER) as necessary to provide support or sitter roles for stable overflow patients.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE.
- Active compact license in the state of practice.
- Experience using Epic electronic medical records (EMR) system.
Work Schedule
Position is for rotating 12-hour day and night shifts. Please include all requests for time off or scheduling needs at the time of application submission.
Additional Information
The facility provides scrubs in a ciel blue color.
