Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery (L&D) | Portland, OR | Contract

We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team in Portland, OR. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a high-risk labor and delivery unit, where you will provide essential care to mothers and newborns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care for patients in labor and delivery, ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Assist in the management of high-risk labor and delivery cases.
  • Utilize skills in postpartum care and float to the Mother Baby Unit as needed.
  • Work in a 4-bay triage unit, managing patients from 20 weeks gestation to postpartum within 6 weeks.
  • Collaborate with a team in a facility that includes 3 operating rooms and a 2-bay PACU.
  • Maintain compliance with BCLS and NRP protocols.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of recent labor and delivery experience required.
  • BCLS and NRP certification required.
  • Preferred skillset in L&D and postpartum care.
