Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring IL licensure and a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience in a mid-to-large hospital setting.

Details

  • Labor & Delivery unit in a mid-to-large hospital averaging 230 deliveries per month
  • Unit includes 14 labor rooms, 3 triage/overnight observation rooms, 2 ORs, 3 PACUs, and a 4-bed OBED off the main unit
  • Night shift schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7p-730a, three shifts per week
  • Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
  • No on-call requirements

Requirements

  • Active IL RN license required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years Labor & Delivery experience in a mid-to-large hospital setting

Additional Information

  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not eligible
  • Returning employees must have been gone from the facility for at least 1 year and relocated with a new address before returning as a traveler
