Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring 1+ years of L&D experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Women's and Infants Labor and Delivery Unit with 19 rooms
• Rotating day (7:00-19:00) and night (19:00-7:00) 3x12 hour shifts
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Weekend shifts required per unit needs
• On-call requirements per unit needs
• Float required within the Woman and Infant Unit and possibly within the metro region per facility needs
• Uses Epic charting system
• Navy scrub color required

Requirements

• Active RN license, CO or Compact required
• Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide labor and delivery nursing care including assisting with vaginal deliveries, circulating and scrubbing for C-sections, and managing high-risk deliveries
• Support antepartum, postpartum, and neonatal care including fetal monitoring, medication administration, and newborn care
• Completion of all facility-specific training modules required within the first week of assignment
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per contract, with blackout periods where RTO is not allowed
• No blocked scheduling requests permitted
• Candidates previously employed by UCHealth or its affiliates within the last two years are not eligible
• Returning travelers who completed a full year on assignment must wait at least one year before rebooking
• Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are accepted
