Join our team as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) at a leading acute-care hospital in Portland, OR. This exciting contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing care to mothers and their newborns during one of the most critical times in their lives.

**Position Overview:**

• **Orientation:** Reduced Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) - 0 Hours NBO vs. Standard 40 NBO
• **Floating:** The position will require floating between units based on needs.
• **On-Call:** Yes, on-call is required if shifts are canceled.
• **Weekends:** Required every other weekend.
• **Block Schedules:** Not required.
• **Expected Ratios:** 1:1, 1:3.
• **Special Requirements:** High Risk OB; ability to float to Postpartum and High Risk Antepartum.
• **Shift Start Times:** 12-hour shifts will start at either 3 AM or 3 PM, or 11 AM and 11 PM.
• **Preparation for Shift Changes:** Employees will have a week or more to prepare for shift changes.
• **Vehicle Requirement:** Must have a vehicle for this assignment.
• **Floating to Other Units:** Travelers may be required to float to other units based on skill sets.

**Facilities:** This position may involve floating to various facilities including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent. Please note that if you are booked to a non-Seaside facility and asked to float to Seaside, you will receive a $5/hr incentive for hours worked at Seaside, in addition to IRS Mileage reimbursement. If floating consecutive shifts, hotel accommodations will be provided.
