Travel Nursing Job Details

• Setting: Short-term acute care, Level II trauma center, Level II pediatric trauma center, teaching hospital
• Shift: Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36
• Contract Length: 26 weeks
• Start Date: September 8, 2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,160 - $2,270
• Charting System: Epic electronic medical records
• Scheduling: Block schedule with some weekend shifts
• Float Requirement: May float to mother-baby or other functional areas within the facility

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington or a compact license in hand at submission
• At least 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Experience with patient ratios in high-acuity L&D settings preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications required
• Strong experience with high-risk obstetrics, antepartum care, and maternal-fetal monitoring
• Ability to work weekends and commit to selected holiday coverage
• Comfortable floating when needed and collaborating across multiple care areas

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care for laboring, antepartum, postpartum, and high-risk obstetric patients
• Monitor fetal status and recognize changes in maternal or fetal condition promptly
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and high-risk obstetric interventions
• Care for patients with pre-eclampsia, diabetes, multiple gestation, VBAC/TOLAC, and other complex maternal conditions
• Administer and monitor therapies such as magnesium sulfate, insulin drips, and blood products as ordered
• Support induction, augmentation, triage, and active labor management workflows
• Respond to maternal emergencies and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver timely care
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Epic
