• Unit Setting: Labor & Delivery with OB Triage, OB Operating Rooms, and OB PACU
• Schedule Notes: Rotating weekends and holidays required

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Maryland or a compact license in hand at the time of submission
• Minimum 3 years of current Labor & Delivery RN experience
• OB Triage experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certification required
• C-EFM preferred; AWHONN Intermediate accepted with expectation to obtain C-EFM if the assignment extends
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
• Compliance with all onboarding and pre-start requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum
• Support labor and delivery, recovery, and postpartum care while maintaining a patient-centered approach
• Assist with OB triage, circulating for C-sections, and care in the OB operating room and OB PACU
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe maternal and newborn outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold unit standards
• Contribute to a supportive, efficient, and positive birth experience for patients and families
