Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 3+ years of L&D experience and active fetal monitoring certification.

Details

Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-7:30
Rotating holidays and weekends required
Block scheduling is not available
Unit includes 14 Labor & Delivery rooms, an OB Triage Unit, OB Operating Rooms, and OB PACU
Comprehensive obstetric care provided for patients from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum
Recently expanded with five new state-of-the-art Labor & Delivery rooms
Patient ratio of 1:1-2
Meditech charting system preferred

Requirements

Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license in hand at time of submission
Minimum 3 years of current Labor & Delivery RN experience required
OB Triage experience required
Previous travel nursing experience required
Active fetal monitoring certification required: C-EFM preferred, or AWHONN Intermediate accepted (C-EFM must be obtained if contract extensions reach or exceed 1 year from initial start date)
BLS and NRP certifications required
ACLS and AWHONN Advanced certifications preferred
Skilled in Labor and Delivery Management and circulating for C-sections
Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
Charge experience preferred

Must work two of the three winter holidays
Facility is smoke free

Accepts local candidates with no radius rule and rates the same for local travelers
RTO requests must be submitted with application and will be reviewed on a per-case basis
