Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN with 5 years of L&D experience for a night shift travel position requiring KY or compact RN licensure.

Details

  • 295-bed acute care hospital setting providing services to an 11-county region
  • Labor and Delivery unit with 6 LDRs, 5 outpatient rooms, 2 ORs, and 1 recovery room
  • Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines
  • Uses GE Centricity wireless fetal monitoring equipment
  • EHR systems used: Meditech and Centricity
  • Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Required to work every other weekend
  • Floating required to Postpartum/Mother-Baby units

Requirements

  • Active KY or compact RN license required
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring
  • Minimum 5 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
  • Rural community hospital experience required
  • Experience circulating or scrubbing in OR procedures required

Additional Information

  • Work in a state-of-the-art facility offering cardiac care and an accredited Spine Center neurosurgery program
  • Scrub color required: OR seal blue
  • Hoodies and sweatshirts are not permitted attire
  • Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
  • Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
  • Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
  • Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
