We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse with Labor & Delivery experience to join a busy maternity care team in Des Moines, Iowa. • Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130

• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend and holiday coverage may be required

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment skills in maternal health, newborn care, and postpartum care
• Ability to work nights and provide reliable 12-hour coverage
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
• Ability to meet travel assignment and onboarding requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Assist with admissions, assessments, labor support, and delivery room preparation
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members to support quality outcomes
• Educate and support patients and families during an important stage of care
• Document care accurately and maintain attention to detail throughout each shift
