### Required Skills / Certifications / Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably 3 years for this challenging unit. - Experience with over 300 births per month is mandatory. - Skills include circulating, sterile vaginal exams, and competent immediate newborn care. - Certifications: BCLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP. - Strongly prefer RN with circulate to OR experience. ### Traveler and Local Candidates: - Unit will accept first-time travelers with experience in large/high-volume settings. - Local candidates accepted, with a rate difference applying. ### Additional Requirements: - Must be proficient in EPIC charting system. - Must have skills in high-risk antepartum, infant/neonatal arrest response, interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, LDRP, OCT (Oxytocin Challenge Tests), pain assessment & management, sterile vaginal exam, and triage of obstetrical patients. - Certifications also include AWHONN Advanced, with C-EFM accepted in lieu of AWHONN. ### Job Details: - 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15) - RTO: Maximum of 7 days for auto offer. - No call requirement. - Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. - Expected to float within women's unit (SMC-High risk OB) as needed. - Requires experience and ability to manage double labor assignments. ### Patient and Unit Details: - Patient ratios: 2:1 - High acuity, fast-paced unit with 400-600 births per month. - Interdisciplinary support includes several specialized services. ### Licensure: - NC or Compact license pending is acceptable for submission. ### Notes: - COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required. - Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only). - Must complete pre-start modules online using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Potential candidates must meet these requirements and exhibit readiness for a challenging, high-volume, and fast-paced unit.
