Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Everett, WA 98201

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Everett, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Weekend coverage required. Float to Postpartum as needed. No call required. Guaranteed hours with potential for one 12-hour call-off per two-week period.

Highlights:

• High-risk perinatal care in a Level III facility with 19 labor and delivery beds, 10 antepartum beds, 30 postpartum beds, 3 operating rooms, and 7-bay triage
• Comprehensive women's and children's pavilion with Level II NICU and robust interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Facility handles 200-300 deliveries per month with 24/7 delivering providers and CRNA support
• Optimal staffing ratios: 1:1 in labor, 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support, 1:2-3 in antepartum
• 40 hours of paid orientation to ensure successful onboarding
• Level II Trauma Center with 571 total staffed beds and Epic charting system

Requirements:

• Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• Experience with sterile vaginal exams (hardstop requirement)
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience in facilities handling 100+ deliveries per month preferred; 200+ deliveries ideal
• Proficiency in high-risk antepartum care, cesarean sections, neonatal resuscitation, fetal monitoring, and postpartum hemorrhage management
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years required
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
