Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring 5 years of RN experience and combined Labor and Delivery plus Mother/Baby background.

Details

  • Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
  • Combined Labor and Delivery plus Mother/Baby patient population
  • Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 18:00-6:00)
  • Required to work Labor Day and rotate weekends
  • Uses Meditech Expanse EMR system
  • Floating within scope required to meet facility needs as needed

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Indiana state or compact) in hand prior to start
  • Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Beginner required
  • RNC-OB certification preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of RN experience required
  • Prior Labor and Delivery and Mother/Baby work setting experience required
  • Community hospital experience preferred
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Meditech charting experience strongly preferred
  • Strong charting proficiency, time management, and team collaboration skills
  • Good communication skills with providers
  • Driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide nursing care across combined Labor and Delivery and Mother/Baby patient populations
  • Local candidates accepted at local rate within an 80-mile radius
  • Candidates must indicate holiday availability for consideration
  • Call-outs of more than a week may affect RTO eligibility
  • Pending state licenses are not accepted for this position
  • First-time travelers may be considered depending on experience level
