Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Medford, OR 97504

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Medford, Oregon

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). Every other weekend required. On-call may be required for low census. Assignment duration is 13 weeks.

Highlights:

• 8-bed LDRP unit providing full spectrum Level I maternity services and Level I newborn care for patients 36 weeks gestation and above
• Care includes triage, antepartum, labor, delivery, postpartum, nursery care, and post-surgical GYN patients
• Two dedicated operating rooms for cesarean sections with surgical tech support
• 108-bed short-term acute care facility with Epic charting system
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Free parking and scrubs provided for maternal child services

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
• Preferred certifications: AWHONN Advanced, STABLE
• Required skills: Cesarean section, circulate for C-section, LDRP, triage of obstetrical patients, sterile vaginal exam, vaginal delivery, use of external fetal monitoring, recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
• Preferred skills: Level I Nursery, spiral electrode placement, use of internal fetal monitoring
• AWHONN patient ratio experience required
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
