Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Labor & Delivery unit maintaining patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2
• Assist with and support vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-Hyst procedures
• Perform immediate newborn care and manage high-risk obstetric patients
• Utilize electronic fetal monitoring equipment and document care using Cerner and Fetal Ink EMR systems
• Operate Baxter infusion pumps and other unit-specific equipment accurately and safely
• Float to related units (MFMU, MOMB, NICU) as needed and approved

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience
• High-risk obstetric patient care experience
• Demonstrated competency in immediate newborn care
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current BLS/ALS and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Circulating experience in the Labor & Delivery setting
• Outgoing, friendly, and adaptable personality well-suited to a fast-paced team environment
