Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience preferred
• Labor & Delivery or obstetrics experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
• Completion of standard onboarding, health, and compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Assist with labor support, delivery preparation, and immediate newborn care
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary care team members to support positive outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow unit protocols
• Educate and reassure patients and families throughout the birthing process
