Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2 years of labor and postpartum experience and MO or compact RN licensure.

Details

• LDRP unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00-7:00)
• Every other weekend required
• One holiday required, with 50% holiday coverage on contract
• Floating required within Maternal/Child units as needed
• Cerner charting system preferred

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license in hand required
• BLS, ALS/ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in labor and postpartum required
• Scrub experience preferred
• Ability to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs

Additional Information

• Work in a 24/7 healthcare facility, including during inclement weather
• Routine contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
• Candidates residing 51-74 miles away may be offered a local rate
• Maximum RTO of 10 days, none permitted during the first week due to orientation
