Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Stockbridge, California.

Job details:
- A minimum of 3 years of Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience is required.
- First-time travelers are accepted, provided they have at least 3 years of L&D experience in a non-teaching facility.
- Candidates must be proficient in performing autonomous vaginal examinations, OB triage, and circulating duties.
Patient Population & Unit Details
- Patient Population: Neonates to adults.
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:3.
- Unit Capacity: 6 rooms.
- Average Daily Census: 15 patients.
Required Certifications
The following certifications are mandatory:
- BLS
- ACLS
- AWHONN Intermediate
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Clinical Skills & Work Requirements
- Previous experience in an Obstetric Emergency Department or Labor & Delivery unit is preferred based on the required clinical competencies.
- Candidates must have experience in OB triage, circulating, and independently performing vaginal examinations.
- Proficiency in Epic EMR is mandatory.
- Experience with Pyxis and SBAR communication protocols is required for unit workflow.
Schedule & Shift Requirements
- Call Requirement: One 12-hour call shift per schedule.
- Weekends: Every other weekend, unless otherwise specified.
Floating: Required within the service line, including Labor & Delivery (L&D), Antepartum Unit (APU), and Operating Room (OR).
