Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery (RN)
Unit Information
Unit Name: Labor and Delivery/OBED
Location: Arlington, TX
General Information:
- Number of Beds: 23
- Patient Ratios: 2:1
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Systems: CPN/Meditech
- On-Call Requirement: 1 shift every 4 weeks
- Floating Requirement: Within Women's Health - Postpartum/Antepartum
Typical Hiring Profile
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of travel experience in high-risk Obstetrics Labor and Delivery
- Current certifications: NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, ACLS, BLS
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in OB Emergency Department
- High risk and high volume experience
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will provide care to high-risk obstetric patients, which may include:
- Administering magnesium and insulin drips
- Circulating and scrubbing during surgical procedures
