Unit Information

Location: Arlington, TX

Unit: Labor and Delivery / OBED-707

• Number of Beds: 23
• Patient Ratios: 2:1
• Type of Staff: Includes CNCs, RNs, CSTs, and support personnel
• EMR: CPN/Meditech

Role Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, including:

• Assisting with all aspects of high-risk obstetrical care.
• Administering magnesium and insulin drips as necessary.
• Circulating and scrubbing in obstetrical procedures.
• Mentoring and supporting nursing staff as needed.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 1 year of travel experience in high-risk OB Labor and Delivery.
• Certifications: NRP, intermediate fetal monitoring, ACLS, BLS.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in OBED.
• Experience in high-risk and high-volume settings.
