We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse who is confident in a busy unit with a block schedule and strong teamwork expectations. Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Oklahoma or a Compact RN license at time of submission
• At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced maternal health unit preferred
• Basic to intermediate fetal monitoring experience required
• BLS and NRP required
• ACLS and AWHONN Intermediate preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and float to like units as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to obstetrical patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal status
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and recovery care
• Perform triage and support assessment of high-risk antepartum and labor patients
• Administer medications and manage interventions such as Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, and insulin drips as ordered
• Support patients with breastfeeding education, postpartum assessments, and newborn bonding initiatives
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote excellent patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility protocols and safety standards
