Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) in Clinton, MD. We are seeking dedicated professionals with high-risk experience to provide exceptional care in a dynamic environment. This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a specialized field while making a significant impact on the lives of mothers and their newborns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and manage labor and delivery processes.
  • Provide continuous fetal monitoring (FHM) and ensure patient safety.
  • Act as a preceptor and/or charge nurse as needed.
  • Conduct triage assessments and manage high-risk cases.
  • Float within skillset to Mom/Baby and postpartum units as required.

Qualifications:

  • Current certifications: NRP, STABLE, C-EFM through NCC, ACLS, BLS.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
  • Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment.
  • Experience in triage and high-risk L&D is required.
  • Availability for call duty (36 hours in 6 weeks or 12 hours per pay period) and must be on premises within 45 minutes of receiving a call.
  • Every other weekend and holiday availability is required.
