Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: October 6, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-Hour (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM). Flexible 36 or 48 hour weekly options available. Weekend coverage required (6 weekends per contract: Saturday and Sunday for day shifts, Friday through Sunday for night shifts). 24-hour orientation provided.

Highlights:

91-day travel assignment in a Labor and Delivery Recovery Postpartum (LDRP) unit with 14-bed capacity
Work with a daily census of 14 patients in a facility performing 100-200 births per month
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
Patient ratios: Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3, Mother/Baby 1:3
Epic charting system utilized throughout the unit
Opportunity to care for neonates and adult patient populations in a dynamic obstetric environment

Requirements:

Active Texas or Compact RN license required at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN (Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced level)
Epic charting system experience required
Charge nurse experience preferred
Trauma Level I experience preferred
Must complete core compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
