Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Topeka, KS 66606

Start Date: October 7, 2026

Location: Topeka, Kansas

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (06:00 - 18:00), with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Every third weekend required (6 weekend shifts per 6-week period). Float to Postpartum as needed.

Highlights:

• High-risk Labor and Delivery unit with OB Triage, Postpartum, and Level 2 Special Care Nursery
• Care for laboring patients with high-risk conditions including pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and gestations 34 weeks and greater
• Experience with C-Sections, External Cephalic Versions, and comprehensive perinatal care
• First-time travelers accepted with comprehensive orientation provided
• 91-day assignment with competitive compensation and travel benefits
• Facility delivers over 300 births per month, providing diverse clinical experience

Requirements:

• Active Kansas or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current certifications: BLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• AWHONN Advanced or Intermediate certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
