Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Albuquerque, NM 87109

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30), with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Patient ratio of 2:1. Weekend requirement of 4-6 shifts per 6-week period.

Highlights:

13-week travel assignment in a busy Labor and Delivery unit with 15 beds and 100-200 births per month
First-time travelers welcome; 3 years of experience preferred
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams
Scrubs provided by the facility
Flexible scheduling options with 36 or 48-hour work weeks
Up to 4 days of pre-approved time off available

Requirements:

Active New Mexico or Compact state RN license (pending license accepted if obtained prior to start date)
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate (pending certifications acceptable)
Experience with antepartum care, labor and delivery, triage of obstetrical patients, external fetal monitoring, assisting with vaginal and high-risk deliveries, circulating for C-sections, and recovering C-section patients
Proficiency with sterile vaginal exams, maintaining central lines, anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, insulin drips, and isolation precautions
Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
