GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Monroe, Georgia.
Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) in Monroe, GA. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, focusing on the care of laboring patients from 35 weeks, as well as providing postpartum and newborn care. The facility is committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services and values the contributions of its nursing staff.
Unit Details: The Labor and Delivery unit requires RNs to care for laboring patients from 35 weeks, while also providing postpartum and newborn care. Weekend shifts are required every third weekend unless specified otherwise. There is no call requirement, and floating within the facility/scope of practice may be necessary as needed.
Minimum Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience. The unit accepts first-time travelers, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to expand their experience.
AYA Offer: Once a candidate has signed and confirmation is sent, the manager has 48 hours to review the profile and determine if the unit, schedule, and expertise fit. The AYA Offer is only available if the clinical pass is within RTO guidelines and meets specific facility requirements.
RTO: The maximum response time (RTO) is 7 days. Compliance is crucial for a timely start; if not compliant, there will be a pushback of 2 weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.
Holidays: If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the traveler must work both. For three major holidays, the traveler is expected to work two of them. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.
Compliance: Full compliance is required to start on time. The number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by the contract length (e.g., 8 hours for an 8-week assignment; 10 hours for a 10-week assignment). Locals are accepted at the same rate.
