Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN with AWHONN certification for a 12-hour night shift contract requiring holiday coverage.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit caring for patients with pregnancy complications, preeclampsia, diabetes, and preterm labor
• 12-hour night shift schedule, varying 7a-7p, 3 shifts per week
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery
• Current certifications required: AHA BLS, NRP, and AWHONN

Additional Information

• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break in service
• RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested after
