Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Labor and Delivery unit, managing patients through all stages of labor and delivery
• Monitor and manage high-risk obstetric conditions including preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and preterm labor
• Assess and support patients throughout pregnancy-related complications and interventions
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Cerner electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe maternal and neonatal outcomes
• Fulfill holiday coverage expectations, including 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• AWHONN certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing high-risk obstetric patients including those with preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and preterm labor
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
• Strong clinical assessment skills in a fast-paced Labor and Delivery environment
