Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced LDRP RN for a night shift position requiring labor training and fetal monitoring certification at a Critical Access Hospital.

Details

  • LDRP unit providing care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns within a Critical Access Hospital
  • Night shift hours from 18:45 to 07:00
  • Fast-paced obstetrics department environment with interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Uses EPIC EMR
  • Floating to Med/Surg, CCU, or ER may be required to assist other departments
  • On-call requirement up to 3 times per 13-week contract as scheduled by the OB manager

Requirements

  • Active RN license (MT or Compact) required
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
  • Current certifications: BLS, NRP, and STABLE
  • Must be labor-trained
  • Fetal monitoring certification (Intermediate or above) required

Additional Information

  • Provide care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns
  • Perform triage and non-stress tests (NSTs)
  • Serve as 2nd nurse at deliveries and manage overflow patients
  • Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to support patient-centered care
  • Support patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, birth, or recovery
  • Team-oriented setting with strong interdisciplinary collaboration
