**Join Our Team as a L&D RN - Charge Nurse!** - **Location:** Alaska - **Assignment Length:** 13 or 26 Weeks - **Start Date:** ASAP - **Shift Options:** 3x12 or 4x12 Nights **Why You’ll Love This Position:** - **Impactful Role:** As a Charge Nurse, you’ll be at the forefront of maternal care, leading a dedicated team. - **Dynamic Environment:** Work in a high-risk Labor and Delivery unit with average daily deliveries and a variety of cases. - **Collaborative Team:** Be part of a skilled team that thrives on compassionate patient care and professional growth. **Requirements:** - **Experience:** 1 year of nursing experience, must have Charge Nurse experience or be willing to train. - **Licensure:** Must have an active AK RN license for auto offer; pending licenses acceptable but must be in hand for auto offer. - **Certifications:** - BLS - ACLS - AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced - NRP - **Floating:** May float to like units if needed. - **Availability:** - Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekend. - On-call Requirement: No. **Unit Information:** - **OB Triage/Testing:** 5-10 patients - **Labor & Delivery/Antepartum:** 7-14 patients - **Facilities:** High-risk LD unit with multiple OB Triage Rooms, LDR Rooms, OR suites, and PACU rooms. - **Patient Volume:** Average daily deliveries around 7, with potential for up to 14 patients due to inductions and high-risk antepartum. **Facility Information:** - **Type of Facility:** Acute Hospital - **Recognition:** Magnet Facility, Level II Trauma, USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska - **Total Staffed Beds:** 407 - **Scrubs:** Provided - **Charting System:** Epic - **Parking:** Free **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
