Job Details

• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Weekend Requirement: 2 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; nights are Friday/Saturday
• Floating: Required to other Sacramento facilities; first to float
• EMR: Cerner
• BSN: Not required
• License: Required at submission

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 1 year of LDRP experience; 3 years preferred.
• Must be comfortable managing labor, delivery, and postpartum couplets.
• Must be able to “catch the baby” — confirm this explicitly before submission.
• L&D-only candidates may be considered if they have OR circulating experience.
• Candidates with postpartum-only experience are not accepted.
• Must be comfortable with NRP during delivery; there is no in-house pediatric coverage.
• Must be able to titrate Pitocin and occasionally insulin.
• Advanced fetal monitoring and recognition of maternal/newborn complications are essential.
