Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring high-risk pregnancy experience and an active NJ or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Delivery Room unit of a hospital setting
• Requires experience with high-risk pregnancies
• 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a), 3 days per week
• Floating to a sister hospital nearby may be required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses EPIC charting system

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience with high-risk pregnancies required
• EPIC EMR experience preferred

• Deliver competent clinical care and demonstrate knowledge of emergency equipment and procedures
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of the nursing process and patient progress

• Follow National Patient Safety Goals, including use of two patient identifiers and safe transfer techniques
• Prioritize patient care based on individual needs and changing conditions
• Provide patient and family education regarding procedures and instructions

• Travelers may remain on assignment up to one year from their initial start date before requiring a break
