GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) in Indianapolis, IN. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced RNs looking to make a difference in the lives of mothers and their newborns. Position/Specialty: Labor and Delivery RN
Shift Requirements: 4x12-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
Years of Experience Required: 1.5 years
Certifications Required: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate course
Local Candidates: Not accepted
Floating Requirements: May float to the Methodist Hospital ED, providing OB-specific care alongside a primary RN. On the first shift at Methodist, nurses are asked to arrive 30 minutes early for a quick orientation to the unit and supplies.
RTO Restrictions: Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
Special Requirements: L&D travel experience; familiarity with various conditions and procedures such as NST, diabetes management, multiple gestation, VBAC management, and administration of medications like Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate.
Unit Information: L&D patients. Effective 11/30/24, Indiana RNs will not be allowed to work at this facility, with some exceptions for perioperative and allied health travelers.
