L&D RN – Night Shift | 36 Hours/Week
Hi,
I have an L&D RN opportunity available at a hospital in Washington.
Shift: 12-Hour Nights
Weekend Requirement: Friday & Saturday nights
Duration: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Charting System: Epic
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience
- LDRP experience required
- Must be comfortable independently attending deliveries, assisting with baby delivery and transition, and circulating in C-sections
- Must be able to care for postpartum patients and newborns
- Required Certifications: BLS and NRP
- Must be comfortable titrating Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips
- No first-time travelers accepted
- Active license required to submit; willing to wait for a license
- Two years of references required with submission
Unit Details:
- Birthing Center / Mother-Baby / L&D
- 13 L&D beds, 2 C-section OR suites, 2 triage beds, and 14 postpartum beds
- Patient population: 32 weeks gestation and above, including high-risk pregnancies
- EPIC charting system
- No floating outside the department or to NICU
Additional Information:
- Block scheduling may be available upon request
- Holiday rotation required
- Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment
- Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
