Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift assignment requiring L&D, Nursery, and Postpartum experience with AWHONN and NRP certifications.
Details
- Critical access hospital setting on the Labor & Delivery/Nursery/Postpartum unit
- Care for maternity patients and newborns, including couplet care
- Unit consists of 2 labor beds and 3 postpartum beds
- Patient ratio of 1:2
- Uses Meditech EHR
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend rotation, with additional weekend hours as needed
- Floating required as needed
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active RN license (TN or compact) required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, and NRP
- Minimum 1+ years of Labor and Delivery experience required
- Fetal monitoring experience required
- PALS certification preferred
- Centricity and Meditech EHR experience preferred but not required
- Must pass Tennessee Abuse Registry background check prior to start
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care across Labor & Delivery, Nursery, and Postpartum units
- Scrubs of any color accepted; casual attire or other facility apparel not permitted
- Must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
- Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
