Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery/LDRP position requiring 2+ years of L&D, postpartum, nursery, and Mother/Baby experience.
Details
- LDRP unit providing care during antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases
- 13-week assignment on day shift (7a-7p)
- Flexible to float to other units as facility needs require
Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- PALS required, but may be obtained within 30 days of start if needed
- AWHONN certification preferred, can be completed onsite
- Minimum 2 years of recent L&D, postpartum, nursery, and Mother/Baby experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- AHCA certification required for FL placement
- No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of start
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide obstetrical nursing care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy
- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning safe patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
- Delegate patient care priorities and provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week
- Not eligible if previously worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
