Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating the care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician. The RN will utilize their knowledge of nursing principles, theories, methods, and techniques to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' care needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
• Implement nursing interventions based on evidence-based practices and patient needs.
• Evaluate patients' responses to interventions and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care, ensuring adherence to nursing standards and departmental policies.
• Collaborate with professional peers and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required; Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in the area of clinical specialty is preferred.
• Licenses: Valid PA Registered Nurse License is required.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification is required; Multi-State Compact RN License is also required.

Working Conditions

The RN will be expected to work in various clinical settings and may be required to adapt to different departmental protocols and standards of care.
