Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an LDRP position in Nashville, TN, requiring Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby experience with night shift availability.
Details
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Works across Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby units in an LDRP setting
- Patient population includes obstetrical patients, including those from the prison population
- Clinical responsibilities include antepartum care, OB triage, external fetal heart monitoring (EFM), and circulating for C-sections
- Floating between L&D and Mother Baby units is required
Requirements
- Active TN state RN license or compact multi-state RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, S.T.A.B.L.E., CPI (MAB accepted in lieu of CPI), and NIH Stroke Scale
- Minimum 1 year of L&D and Mother Baby nursing experience required
- First-time travelers must have at least 2 years of experience
- Travelers with prior travel experience must have completed at least 2 travel assignments
- Proficiency in Labor & Delivery management and C-section circulation required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Orientation consists of two 8-hour shifts followed by two 12-hour department-specific orientation shifts
- Candidates must be comfortable working with the prison population
- First-time travelers and local candidates are welcome to apply
- Strict no-call policy enforced at this facility
