Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 4 weekend shifts per month | Tuesday starts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Labor & Delivery unit with 10 LDRs and 2 OBEDs, maintaining patient ratios of 2:1 (high-risk patients at 1:1 or 2:1 if stable)
• Perform and assist with procedures including Cesarean sections, BTLs, and Salpingectomies
• Function as O.R. Circulator as required by unit needs
• Document patient care accurately using CPN (Centricity) and Meditech EMR systems
• Float to Postpartum or medical floor (in a tech capacity only) as needed
• Adhere to unit dress code: Royal Blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• Current Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
• ACLS certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• BLS certification
• O.R. Circulator experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• C-EFM (Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification preferred but not required
• Bilingual candidates are strongly preferred
• Scrub tech skills
