Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week contract. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where patient care is the top priority.

This position is located in City, State.

Shift Details

  • Shift Schedule: 7 PM to 7 AM

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes promptly.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to create effective care plans.
  • Assist in the delivery process while ensuring the safety and comfort of the mother and baby.
  • Educate and support patients and their families regarding childbirth and postpartum care.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality of records.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
  • Strong assessment skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
