Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a High Risk OB position requiring labor and delivery, c-section, and magnesium drip experience.

Details

• Work in a 25-bed High Risk OB unit within a Women's and Children's building
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 6:1 depending on acuity
• Charge nurse/CNC coverage each shift with unit secretary support when available
• Uses Connect and Expanse documentation systems
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Requires working 3 weekend shifts per schedule
• Floating required to OB ED, Mother Baby, and Labor and Delivery units
• Unit performs c-sections, vaginal deliveries, and bereavement care

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• High risk antepartum, labor and delivery, and c-section experience required
• Experience with magnesium drips and circulating c-sections required
• GYN experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Care for high risk obstetric patients including antepartum, labor and delivery, and postpartum populations
• Required to wear navy blue, seal blue, or grey scrubs
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered
