Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse (RN) plays a vital role as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team, comprising both licensed and unlicensed caregivers, to deliver individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care. This position operates within a clinical environment overseen by Nurse Managers and other nursing leaders, supported by a shared governance model that emphasizes collaborative practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care aligned with the patient's needs and preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and uphold the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards established by the American Nurses Association.
  • Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Advocate for the voice of the patient while adhering to system policies and procedures.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and incorporate evidence-based practices into nursing care.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid RN license in the state of Georgia.
  • Knowledgeable in nursing practices and principles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with patients and team members.
  • Commitment to providing patient-centered care and promoting a culture of safety.
