Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring an active NJ or compact RN license and BLS/ACLS certification.

Details

• Work in the Delivery Room unit of a hospital setting
• PM shift schedule with 7p-7a hours
• 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly
• Uses Epic charting system
• Floating required as needed, including to a nearby sister hospital
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments across the lifespan from pediatric to geriatric populations
• Deliver competent clinical care including knowledge of emergency equipment and procedures
• Maintain complete and accurate patient documentation including patient education
• Follow National Patient Safety Goals including Universal Protocol and two-patient identifier verification
• Support Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) order evaluation and completion as applicable
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
• Returning travelers may stay on assignment up to one calendar year from the initial start date, after which a 30-60 day break is required before returning
