Description

American Traveler is hiring a seasonal travel RN for a Labor & Delivery unit requiring 1+ year of recent L&D experience and intermediate fetal monitoring certification.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit with 29 beds, 4 ORs, 3 PACU bays, 12 antepartum rooms, and 10 triage rooms
• Patient ratio of 2:1
• Uses Centricity and GE monitors
• Charts in Meditech / CPN
• Night shift schedule from 7pm to 7am
• Performs vaginal and c-section deliveries, D&C, hysterectomy, postpartum tubal ligation, cerclage placement, and versions
• Cares for high-risk OB patients
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) or AWHONN certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital L&D experience
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• Meditech, PACU, and OR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Team includes 22 RNs, 2-3 CSTs, 1 charge nurse, and 1 flex staff on day shift, and 20 RNs, 1-2 CSTs, 1 charge nurse, and 1 flex staff on night shift
• Best suited for a self-starter who can work independently while supporting fellow teammates
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered, as local candidates are not accepted
