Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Post Partum Floor. This position provides care for postpartum patients following vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including patients requiring magnesium therapy and management of gestational hypertension. The assignment is scheduled for 12-hour night shifts over 13 weeks.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Current California Registered Nurse license at the time of submission; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification; minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience; Certified Lactation Specialist (CLS) and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) experience.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Assignment Dates: 11/17/202602/20/2027.
- Additional Information: Patient population includes vaginal and cesarean section patients, patients receiving magnesium therapy, patients with gestational hypertension, and patients requiring Bakari balloon management. Typical ratios are 1:3 and may vary according to patient acuity and census.
