Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Post Partum Floor. The position provides overnight nursing care for postpartum patients following vaginal and cesarean births, including patients receiving magnesium therapy and those with gestational hypertension. The role requires clinical judgment in a patient population with acuity- and census-dependent assignments.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Current California registered nurse license at the time of submission; at least 2 years of experience; Basic Life Support (BLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel nursing experience, Critical Care certification (CLS), International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification, and experience with the EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Patient population includes vaginal and cesarean patients, patients receiving magnesium therapy, patients with gestational hypertension, and patients requiring Bakari balloon care. Typical ratios are 1:3 and may vary based on patient acuity and census. The assignment is scheduled from 11/17/2026 through 02/20/2027.
