L&D Post Partum Floor Nurse in Asheville, NC This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a Mother Baby Unit within a high-acuity hospital setting. The position supports patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring clinical excellence and patient comfort.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Experience: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; no minimum experience required; facility requires valid licensure in North Carolina.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: BLS certification; one year of nursing experience preferred but not required; current licensure in North Carolina.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Mother Baby Units, travel experience, care for patients on Magnesium Sulfate post delivery, STABLE certification.
- Responsibilities include caring for postpartum patients, assisting with procedures such as circumcisions, and supporting new mothers through labor and postpartum care.
- Additional Information: Must be a team player who enjoys teaching and patient support.
