Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications; Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Mother Baby or Post Partum unit.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Additional Information: The role requires familiarity with unit-specific policies, managing patient acuity, and utilizing clinical documentation systems such as CPN and Meditech. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to recognize clinical risks including sepsis, venous thromboembolism, and pressure injuries, as well as provide education and assessment for postpartum and newborn patients. The position involves working predominantly within womens services unless cross-trained to pediatrics or neonatal intensive care.
